Co-Owner

As an Athlete who competed in various sports for many years, Yolande excelled in Track & Field earning her a full Track scholarship to Grambling State University where she competed collegiately. She not only excelled athletically but academically as well which earned her All-American recognition both on the track and in the classroom.  After completing her degree at GSU she went on to pursue the first of two graduate degrees while continuing to compete on an international and professional level, representing her home country of Trinidad and Tobago. As a former Olympian, Yolande understands the commitment, dedication and discipline it takes to be a successful athlete both on and off the field.

Yolande went on to become a mother instilling the same work ethics in her daughter who competed in the 200m and 400m  events and went on to become HS state champion in the 400m, also earning a Track scholarship to University of South Carolina.

Although Yolande’s competitive days on the track are over, she still remains very active and maintains her commitment to physical fitness because working out should be a lifestyle not a chore. She is a Certified Trainer who utilizes her experiences, passion and knowledge to help others attain their personal physical fitness goals and healthy lifestyles. She still continues to work out on a regular basis to not only stay fit but remain in shape which makes her feel better and more confident about herself.
